And here we go…

After a break that was long enough to put Bobby Skinstad’s exile from international rugby to shame we are back on the waterlogged Green Mile to finish off our league. All but one Pool has played one of their 3 pool games before we lead into the knockout stages.

How it works from here on in is:

We continue with three more rounds (weeks 6-8) in our current format.

We then move into quarter finals. The top 2 sides from each pool will play in the Cup finals and the bottom 2 to will play in the Bowl finals. A UEFA style draw will take place to determine which pool will face which pool.

Then semis and finals.

It’s that simple! The weather is going to be testing, disenchanted Currie Farce Cup spectators will pour onto our stands and hopefully further inroads will be made into the emerging afterparty concept. What lies ahead we look at with relish. It should be fantastic.

Yours in rugby!
